Spanish Enduro: Josep GarcĂa (E1), Zach Pichon (E2), Jaume Betriu (E3) and Mireia Badia 2023 champions
Results from the last race of the 2023 Spanish Enduro Championship in Torre d'OristĂ where Josep GarcĂa, Zach Pichon, Jaume Betriu and Mireia Badia take the E1, E2, E3 and Women’s titles.
With typically dry and dusty terrain, the final competition of the 2023 Spanish Enduro Championship in Torre d'OristĂ saw Josep GarcĂa wrap-up yet another overall national title.
Adding the E1 crown to his tally on day two at the final round, the Red Bull KTM rider now has 15 Spanish championships to his name and takes a fifth consecutive double-win in class and overall.
A 2-4 scorecard for the weekend gave Zach Pichon the E2 championship for Sherco. It was a close one though as the Frenchman needed to finish ahead of Alejandro Navarro for the title and it came right down to the final test with Zach just one second faster.
Third scratch and second in E1 on the final day for Sergio Navarro gave Husqvarna Spain the season’s runner-up spot in a compeitive championship line-up full of EnduroGP riders.
Despite not finishing the season with the best result – a 5-7 scratch results and behind title rival Leo Le Quere in E3 class – Jaume Betriu finishes the season as champion of the large category once again for WP Eric Auge squad.
Mireia Badia meanwhile finished another perfect season and taking her eighth championship title in the Women’s category.
In Junior Open class Alex Puey was also crowned champion for the season.
