2019 EnduroCross championship back in action this weekend in Denver

Round two of the 2019 EnduroCross season arrives in Denver this weekend with Colton Haaker the early points leader and a class field gunning for his title. 
 

Can Taddy Bazusiak take a win in Denver, will Cory Graffunder pull another podium or will reigning EnduroCross Champion Colton Haaker cement and strong start to the 2019 season? We’ll find out this weekend as the North American indoor enduro series jumps back into life on Saturday inside the National Western Complex, Denver.

Round one in Prescott Valley was the first time the Super EnduroCross (Pro) class used a three moto format to determine the overall results and it was Colton Haaker’s consistency which paid off with 2-1-1 scores to take the top step of the podium.

That podium also saw a welcome return for Cory Graffunder who had his best result in a couple of years on the SRT Yamaha YZ250F for second overall. The Canadian had 1-5-3 moto results. 

Multi-time EnduroCross champion, Taddy Blazusiak was a late entry into the series drafted in to replace Cody Webb and taking a sabbatical from WESS duties in Europe – Taddy bagged 4-6-2 moto scores for the final step of the podium.

Two-time Women's champion Shelby Turner took the win over former champion Maria Forsberg at round one. Rachel Gutish had a tough main event with a couple of crashes but grabbed the final step of the podium.   

Destry Abbott had to make a last-lap pass to win the Vet 35+ class over Nick Mcgowen. Michele De Mas finished third. Nick Tolman won the Intermediate class over Anthony Johnson and Wiliam Riordan.

Action kicks off in the National Western Complex (4655 Humboldt St, Denver, CO 80216) on Saturday.
