2024 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo dates confirmed – “more intense experience” says race director

2024 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo Extreme Enduro dates confirmed from May 30 to June 2 at the mighty Iron Giant quarry in Eisenerz, Austria with the race director Karl Katoch threatening to make the 28th edition “more intense”.

Can it be 28 times already this mad event will have landed in Eisenerz and taken over the Iron Giant for one of the most iconic and epic weekends in off-road sport on the planet?

That’s the big build-up (which we probably didn’t need) but you might want to plonk May 30 to June 2  in your diary, certainly take note if you are wanting to be one of thousands from 50 nations taking part.  

Four days of competition are promised next year as the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo will again be part of the 2024 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship (HEWC), bringing together riders from each end of the scale.

For 2024 the event promotors threatening to “up the ante” again: “The Red Bull Erzbergrodeo 2023 was a big success with competitors from all over the world and an enthusiastic crowd.” Says race director Karl Katoch. “For 2024 we are already working on the implementation of some new concepts and try to make the 28th edition of Red Bull Erzbergrodeo become an even bigger and more intense experience for all participants and visitors.” You have been warned.

More importantly for some, Erzbergrodeo rider registration kicks off on November 20, 2023 so get that one in the phone calendar with alerts turned on. As many will know, the first “race” of the Erzbergrodeo is traditionally at the online rider registration form.

The registration starts on November 20th 2023 at 9:00am (local time in Austria) with pre-order spectator tickets also available including “early bird” offers.
