2024 Tennesse Knockout: Cody Webb bosses the Downtown Nashville prologue

2024 Tennessee Knockout street prologue sees Cody Webb topping an all-American podium in Nashville as Mani Lettenbichler and Trystan Hart slump out in the early rounds.

The 2024 Red Bull Tennessee knockout got off to a glitzy start in Downtown Nashville with cool vibes from a packed crowd watching the best hard enduro racers going head-to-head on a man-made course. It‘s not often you get to see off-road racing under the neon signs, bars and cafes in a city like this.

After timed runs in the afternoon, riders went in pairs for ‘best of three’ runs head-to-head in the evening. It was a brutal elimination process for some with Alfredo Gomez hitting the logs and concrete pipes fast to knock out Mani Lettenbichler in the first round. 

Mitch Brightmore was on form too in putting out Wade Young early and narrowly beating Trystan Hart in the second round before losing out to Ryder Leblond in the third place run-off.

Fortunately for the Hard Enduro World Champion Lettenbichler, and US hard Enduro Champion Trystan Hart, the prologue actually counts for kudos alone and no points or times matter towards the main event this weekend.

It was Cody Webb’s night though as the Sherco USA rider went all-out, looking a lot like he means business this weekend, and claimed the win in a battle of the ages with old rival Colton Haaker.

Qualification runs for the main event at the Sequatchie Trials Training Center begin for the amateur riders today, Friday. Pro rider hot lap qualification takes place on Saturday followed by more straight rhythm shootouts in the evening which does count for qualification and awards HEWC points for the top three.

Enduro21 does not have any prologue results.
