2025 French EnduroGP round 6 cancelled

2025 EnduroGP World Championship French GP in Requista is cancelled, dropping the series to six ahead of round three this weekend in Sweden.

The FIM, Fédération Française de Motocyclisme (FFM), the EnduroGP World Championship promoters Prime Stadium and organising club Réquista Moto Sport have jointly announced they have been forced to cancel the EnduroGP of France scheduled for September 12-14 in Réquista.

They say the event, previously round six of the 2025 season, will not be replaced and therefore the series drops to six GPs in total from an original eight – previously the Romanian GP was also dropped.

The news comes on the eve of the third round of the 2025 season in Skovde, Sweden which will now mark the halfway point of the 2025 season when it concludes on Sunday evening. From there we have a mini summer break before a return appointment to the GP of Wales on August 1-3 for round four.

The series then takes another break for the 2025 ISDE in Bergamo, Italy from August 24-29 bookending a busier close to the season as we stick around for the GP of Italy, the penultimate round of the season on September 26-28, before concluding with round eight’s GP of Germany on October 17-19.

The 2025 FIM Enduro Women’s World Championship will now take place across three rounds (we think): the GP of Portugal (round one), GP of Wales, and GP of Germany.

Requista and the local club (note an amatuer club not what you could call a business like some clubs are with paid employees) has served the World Enduro Championship well with some classic French enduro over the years.

Plans were well underway for the 2025 French GP but it is thought the financial situation is behind the decision – the money from local government and sponsors drops while the cost of staging the event increased dramatically.
