2025 SuperEnduro Results: Brightmore brothers join Billy Bolt on the podium at Rnd 4

Results from 2025 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship round four in Lodz which produced the best racing of the season as the Brightmore brothers stand alongside Billy Bolt on the podium in Poland.

SuperEnduro Rnd 4, Lodz, Poland, in a nutshell:

Nice, big stadium, open track with line options and a special treat of heading up the stadium seating and back down like Supercross back in the ‘80s. Lodz loves a SuperEnduro and always puts on a show.
It’s honestly a familiar story to us all but Billy Bolt set the pace around the track from first practice, through timed practice and heading into Superpole.
But the boys were on it from the start in Superpole, setting up a fantastic night’s racing.
Eddie Karlsson was quick, Bolt was quicker but Jonny Walker looked like he meant business clocking 49.149 to steal the three points.
A fierce opening lap of Prestige class moto one saw Mitch Brightmore continuing the form he showed at the previous round before a mistake allowed the champion through. Billy’s fluid lines and ability to piece the rock and log sections ultimately made the difference and for all the first laps bluster, he ended moto one looking controlled for the win.
Karlsson also got through on Mitch and the Swede went on to claim a solid for second, just 4.7s behind – note the FIM have relaxed their restrictions on the Varg slightly with each round and they again took some weight off the bikes this weekend.
Mitch took P3 just ahead of his brother Ash in a furious mid-pack battle which included Jonny Walker who went down in the rocks on lap one and ultimately that cost him an overall podium.
Moto two saw drama off the start as Will Hoare and Toby Martyn colliding, injuring the Rieju rider’s hand in the process. It allowed Dominik Olszowy free out front ahead of Ash Brightmore.
But the drama was behind as Bolt, Mitch Brightmore and Walker fought hard for the positions. Bolt barged past Walker and the chase went right to the wire on the last lap with Bolt closing Ash, who closed on Olszowy and the three were line-astern heading into the rocks on the last lap. Bill came out best but it was a close one ahead of Ash and home hero Olszowy.
The deciding third moto saw the track at its worst with holes cut out in front of many logs making a race tougher than ever to hang on through.
Jonny Walker took the holeshot and led with Bolt behind. Bill looked like he was being patient on Walker’s tail and the mistake came in the rocks to let the champion lead.
Meanwhile the fight to be best Brightmore brought both brothers right into it and when Bolt made a small mistake, Ash went through to lead a lion’s share of the race, only succumbing to the pressure in the penultimate lap. Billy has been running away with it but he didn’t tonight.
The story of the night wasn't just Bolt having to fight for it but the two brothers historically standing on the SuperEnduro World Championship Prestige class podium.
Championship Standings (After Round 4) Bolt (Husqvarna) 244pts, Walker (Triumph) 163pts, A. Brightmore (GASGAS) 153pts, M. Brightmore (GASGAS) 145pts, Karlsson (Stark) 132pts.

The Junior World Championship began with a brutal first turn crash taking down a third of the field. But Marc Fernandez and Milan Schmuser emerged out front and pieced together a consistent race for a one-two result.
More first lap shenanigans cost points leader Fernandez dearly in reverse grid moto two, and he couldn’t make progress for a P9 finish. Out front Manuel Gomez made it seven race winners in 10 races, narrowly hanging on from Schmuser and Toby Shaw third.
Fernandez made no mistake in moto three and took the holeshot and once again had Schmuser for company. The pair followed nose to tail but the German never had the pass in him and the Spaniard saw the chequer flag first once again.
However, by virtue of his second moto mishap, it was Schmuser who took the overall win on the night.
Youth 125 class saw AG Racing Beta rider Ramon Godino boss the track and the the night. Michal Laska had the crowd raising the volume with second in moto one ahead of title challenger Frasier Lampkin third.
Lampkin stormed the second moto start but an off in the sand let Godino through followed by Aussie Michael Blake. Laska looked good again but Lampkin wasn’t done and the pair fought hard for the podium with the British rider strongest for second and Laska third.
Out front Godino was on his own and made it look easy for the win and extend his points lead to 18 points.
