Alestrem Experience 2021: a new formula for the French extreme

The classic French extreme enduro has reinvent itself for the seventh edition due to the coronavirus pandemic giving birth to the Alestrem Experience – a non-competitive event to give the hard enduro fans the chance to ride the tracks used in the race.

For the past six years the Moto-Club Wellcome Tout Terrain has opened the extreme enduro calendar with the Alestrem, a race that has welcome over 500 riders, 30.000 spectators and 300 crew members in previous editions and has always delivered great racing.  

Anyway, for 2021 the sanitary restrictions and the uncertainty created by the coronavirus pandemic has force the organising team to reinvent themselves and came out with the Alestrem Experience. The new event will allow those that were unsure of trying the French extreme to give it a try without the pressure of racing.

Alestrem Experience: a non-competitive event

The new event will be “a two-day extreme enduro ride” according to the organising team. During the first day riders will be able to attempt to complete the first and second lap of the Alestrem and the second day the third lap will be accessible. To ensure everyone’s safety all the riders will be hand out a GPS that will allow the organization to live-track them, riders will also be able to make an emergency call trough it.
