All-new Cross Country Rally in Algeria announced for 2021

The Africa Eco Race organisers have officially launched a new rally into the 2021 calendar, the first edition of the Algeria Eco Race will take place on October 5-11.

Aiming to return to the roots of authentic rallying, the all-new rally in the African country of Algeria promises vast playgrounds and “the most beautiful desert in the world.” Sound good?

More details will arrive in the coming weeks and once the event website goes live on May 1, 2021 (www.algeriaecorace.com) which is also when the registrations open. The recce team say they will travel to Algeria “in the coming days” to cement plans for the event which will be a welcome new entry in the Cross-Country Rallies calendar.

October 2, 2021 Administrative and technical checks in the south of France

October 3, 2021 Boarding of the boat in Marseille for the entire caravan

October 4, 2021 Arrival of the boat in Algiers

October 5 to 11, 2021 Five stages in the Grand Erg Occidental

October 12, 2021 Boarding of the boat in Algiers, direction Marseille

Entry fees

The rates include round trip transport of vehicles and participants, through borders and customs. There’s a discount for those entering both the Algeria Eco Race and the Africa Eco Race.
