Christophe Nambotin joins Sherco Factory Racing Team

The Sherco Factory Racing Team has announced the signing of Christophe Nambotin for the 2021 season – former Enduro World Champion will focus on French Classic and national championship races plus selected international events.

Sherco say the signing of Nambotin, which comes as a surprise in a week of big names moving between race teams and manufacturers, is “to help us continue to shine in the French championship and the French classics”.

The plan will also allow Sherco bevvy of young team riders to soaking up some of the old Nambotin magic and they do not rule out his participation in “certain international events” as soon as the calendars are released and plans can be set.

“I am very happy to be able to join the Sherco Racing Team,” says Nambo. “I am really looking forward to start working with the team and to train with my team-mates who will race the next Enduro World Championship. I think we can do great things together, and for my part, go for a new French title.”

“The signing of Christophe is excellent news for us,” adds Sherco’s Racing programme  director, Jordan Curvalle. “As a French manufacturer it is important for us to have an ambassador who will continue to be present in the national championship and the classics. We are waiting for the 2021 racing calendar to be finalized as we plan to add some of the famous international races to his programme.”
