Cody Webb signs multi-year deal with Yamaha US for Hard Enduro and EnduroCross

Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. has announced Cody Webb will join the bLU cRU on a multi-year deal with Yamaha Racing for AMA EnduroCross, AMA Hard Enduro, and will bring the mighty YZ back to Erzbergrodeo.

Busy times for YMUS this week as Cody Webb is the second high profile to be announced as new signing to race a YZ in 2025. The big news (not just for us, surely?) is that Cody will jump on the YZ250X to run his own team programme, CW2 Racing.

“I’m really excited about this new endeavor with Yamaha.” Says Cody.“The sport of hard enduro has been growing quickly, and I feel honored to bring Yamaha into the series and back into EnduroCross. The level of professionalism in my short time so far with the bLU cRU can’t be matched. I can’t wait to see what ‘25 has in store for us.”

As mentioned, Cody has a deal with Yamaha but it is to run his own programme with the 250 two-stroke in hard enduro, the 250 FX in EnduroCross and he'll also take hold of a Tenere 700 and a 450 for training.

Living in prime conditions for training along the front range of Colorado, Webb is a championship-proven rider who brings with him a wealth of experience in hard enduro. In addition to three AMA Super Endurocross Championships (2014, 2015, 2017), he was crowned 2018 FIM Super-Enduro World Champion alongside the 2010 National Mototrial Champion, 2017 AMA West ISDE champion, and he is also a ISDE Gold Medalist in a club team for USA in 2017.

Webb is also a six-time Tennessee Knockout Champion, a six-time King of Motos Champion, a six-time X-Games medalist, and was the first and only American to podium Erzbergrodeo in 2016 and 2017.
