First look: Polisport unbreakable off-road levers

Developed over several years with pro riders and weekend warriors, Polisport claim their new Pivot Unbreakable Lever range will feel like original equipment but be “unbreakable during use”. 

The goal for Polisport with these sweet-looking new range was to develop an unbreakable lever while maintaining the feel of an OEM aluminium part. Using Aero Parts Technology (APT), which is a proprietary compound that emulates the feel and touch of aluminium, the development process has involved riders of all levels to make sure they matched rider needs and worked in terms of reach and feel.

The textured levers are shorter than most stock parts, long enough for three fingers by design they say, and use a pivot system which allows it to fold outwards, preventing breakage even in extreme conditions.   

They mount into a stock perch and master cylinder using a lever adapter that is CNC machined out of high-grade aluminium. Fitment is for a wide off-road range of bikes including KTM/Husqvarna/GASGAS EXC and SX models, Sherco, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki.
