Sherco confirms new SE 300 Extrem Special Edition

Be more Mario? Sherco announce new SE 300 Extrem special edition two-stroke tailored for hard enduro – limited 200 replica editions of the factory bikes ridden by Roman and Teo Kabakchiev.

A quick story, ahead of the details about Sherco’s new Extrem edition, 300 two-stroke models: A couple of weekends ago Enduro21 spotted the factory hard enduro riders, Mario Roman and Teo Kabakchiev, were riding bikes with different graphics in a French race, the Castagn’Hard enduro. It was an event the Sherco duo went on to take a one-two in with the Bulgarian getting the better of his Spanish teammate.

But what about those bikes running “Extrem” down the side? A quick question to Sherco got a straight reply: “it’s just the graphic kit of the Sherco Factory Official Extreme Team to distinguish them from the Enduro Team. No special edition.”

Ta daaaa! Hey presto, as if by magic, here are the new Sherco Extrem special editions just like that and don’t mention two weeks ago. (About last week, shush now).

In what for us is more of a second look than a first look, the new model is an official replica of the SE 300 Mario Roman and Teodor Kabakchiev, the third and fourth place finishers in the 2024 Hard Enduro World Championship, are riding. This season the French factory duo have also ticked off first and second place finishes (the only finishers) at the Ales Trem 2025, out of more than 500 participants before a repeat result at Castagn.

Sherco say they are launching the new limited edition model in only 200 units worldwide and it will feature healthy (and valuable) list of additional parts tailored to hard enduro and as an upgrade from the standard SE 300.

Sherco say the bike is equipped with over €3500 (£2900/$3700 approx.) worth of special parts and that includes a stronger clutch.
