First look: Yamaha Tenere 700 Polisport frame and swingarm protectors

Polisport add to their bike protection range with new side frame and swingarm covers to fend off impact and abrasion particularly when riding off-road.

As one of the biggest selling adventure bikes on the planet, the Yamaha Tenere 700 has a huge following. More than that, it also has a wide range of types of riders doing widely different “adventures” on them and that includes, for Enduro21 at least, the 2025 red Bull Romaniacs on July 22-26.

Adding to a vast range of protection parts for pretty much any off-road motorcycle you could name, the adventure bike range has grown further with two new items for the T7: side frame and swingarm protectors

Side frame protectors

Your bike’s frame, just inside and above the footrests, is a high-wear area especially if you’re in the dirt. Made from high resistant plastic, these protectors are slim and Polisport say they help with control when riding – the textured surface (same as OEM texture) increases grip from boots on the frame, offering greater control in trickier terrain.

Swingarm Protectors 

The swingarm protectors are essentially the same as the tried and very well tested (by us) enduro parts. Enduro21 has been using these for events like Erzbergrodeo for a number of years now and they come recommended for their simple toughness and ability to keep the aluminium part underneath looking fresh and unscratched.

Fitment is, like the frame protectors, is super-easy with the tail end slotting in place adn heavy-duty cable ties to secure along the length of the part.
