ISDE 2027 Confirmed in Great Britain

The 2027 FIM 6Days Enduro of Nations, aka the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), will return to Great Britain in 2027 with Wales confirmed as the host nation.

The governing body of British motorcycle sport, the Auto-Cycle Union (ACU), along with event director Stephen Hall, have confirmed the ISDE will return to one of its historical heartlands and to Mid-Wales for the 101st edition in 2027.

The ACU, together with Welsh enduro clubs and the support of the FIM, will bring the international team competition back to British soil for the first time since 1983. Its return to the UK marks an important milestone for British enduro and will come on the back of a successful three-year tenure for the EnduroGP World Championship in Wales.

Further details on the event are traditionally held in the pockets of those involved pending the official announcement by the FIM on the eve of the preceding Six Days, which this year will be in Portugal for the 100th edition on October 12–17 in Grandola and the Alentejo region.

Planning has been underway for some time, naturally, and the event is expected to involve a number of clubs not just from Mid-Wales but from across the UK, bringing their expertise to the event.

Speaking to some of those involved this week at the Motorcycle Live show in Birmingham, where the ACU officially announce the ISDE 2027 plans, Enduro21 understands the event is expected to feature some of the classic, historic enduro terrain Mid-Wales has to offer, with instrumental motorcycle clubs like Hafren and Builth Wells involved, and terrain many will know from the Welsh 2 Day Enduro.

We suspect that dates are laid down already but lips were firmly sealed when we asked. The EnduroGP calendar shifts slightly earlier in 2026, allowing for the ISDE in Portugal but also for a rumoured start to the 2027 world championship season in Brazil.

That could also mean a relatively early finish to the EGP series again which maybe puts the ISDE into a late summer/early autumn time slot. We’re speculating and will update as soon as we know.
