Long off-road rides always leave riders wishing for a lighter helmet. For those of us who want to make that wish come true without compromising on safety, there’s the F3 Carbon by KLIM. The US manufacturer of premium gear, who’s earned an excellent reputation in the helmet sector thanks to its outstanding products, offers an intriguing piece of equipment in the new F3 Carbon.

During the manufacturing of the elaborate carbon fiber shell, any excess resin is stripped away by hand, resulting in a helmet shell that is as homogeneous and as light as possible. The new helmet also boasts a three-layer EPS inner shell, an extra-large field of view and a FID-LOCK buckle, which is easy to operate even with gloves on. In size medium, it weighs 1,050 grams, and it’s ECE-certified, of course.

Another outstanding feature of the F3 Carbon is its extremely effective ventilation. No less than 19 air intakes and outlets, combined with an air duct system integrated into the helmet’s inner shell, guarantee perfect cooling in just about any situation. A moisture-absorbent, anti-microbial comfort liner (removable and washable) and high-quality 3D cheek pads round out the comprehensive comfort package.
