Quick look: 2025 Fantic New Models at EICMA Show

Fantic Motor announce new models at the 2025 EICMA show including updated 125 Enduro, 21-inch front wheel Caballero option and a new Motor Minarelli 460cc engine.

Fantic has introduced their 2025 enduro and motocross ranges earlier in 2024, so the news isn’t super-exciting for the more sport-oriented Enduro21 readers. But as the EICMA international motorcycle show opens in Milan this week, the Italian manufacturer has announced their updates for 2025, some of which you might want to know about.

The Fantic 125 “off-road fun” four-stroke models are popular and important for Fantic in Europe. Standing seperate from the XE enduro competition machines, never-the-less they are still a capable dualsport option and a great first bike on the street and off-road making them popular with learners and teenagers.

The 2025 update to this range includes a new look with a front end inspired by the enduro racing models with a redesigned LED headlight mask and fender, on both Enduro and SuperMotard options.

Fully compliant with Euro 5+, Fantic has also updated the power on tap with a new airbox and “MXGP-style” exhaust system improve the output of the Minarelli 125 engine.

The chassis has also received an overhaul with new fork tuning and aluminium swingarm (on the Competition versions) to increase rigidity and reduced weight. Fantic say the suspension linkage has also been redesigned to be more linear and gradual suspension response.

There’s also new ABS system, a first for the sector of bikes Fantic says, which you can disengage for going off road.

21-inch wheel on Cabellero Rally

There are also updates across the Italian manufacturer including a cool-looking 21-inch front wheel version of the Caballero Rally edition.

The new version upgrades the standard bike (which is lovely to cruise about on by the way) with 200mm of suspension travel, 280mm of ground clearance and an increased steering angle they say.

Minarelli 460cc four-stroke engine

Also unveiled this week at the EICMA show is Fantic’s new, in-house 460cc, DOHC single cylinder four-stroke engine.

The new “MM460” single-cylinder engine has been completely designed, engineered, and assembled in Italy at the Motori Minarelli facilities which is part of the Fantic Factory.

Weighing less than 40kg, this 460cc, double overhead camshaft engine has finger-follower rockers to improve performance and responsiveness across all RPM range.

Euro 5+ compliant, the A2 (Euro license category) features a “racing derived” forged piston, compact cylinder head, slipper clutch, ride-by-wire throttle system, customizable engine maps and rider-assistance options.

This engine will predominantly be for street models and including the Cabellero.
