Quick look: Bullet Proof Designs Billet Throttle Housing

Enduro21 takes a look at Bullet Proof Designs’ KTM/Husqvarna/GASGAS off-road billet aluminium throttle housings designed to beef-up the stock design for better crash resistance and durability.  

The Bullet Proof Designs Billet Throttle Housing is a straightforward, like-for-like replacement for the original equipment part fitted to KTM Group bikes (KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS).

Designed to be stronger and naturally replace older and worm out parts, BPD’s throttle housing is CNC-machined from billet 6061 aluminium which they say provides “superior resistance against impacts, rocks, and debris, keeping your throttle mechanism safe.”

The housing works with all KTM throttle cams (including latest gen larger type) and is an easy install with all hardware included. Over many years this part hasn’t changed design so the BPD part will fit all stretching back well-over a decade.
