Quick look: Bullet Proof Designs ‘one size fits all’ rear disc guard

Bullet Proof Designs have updated their rear disc guard to a universal fitment option for all KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS off-road motorcycles.

Recognising that off-road riders might switch and change between bike brands and models from the ‘KTM Group’, Bullet Proof Designs now have a universal fitment rear disc guard suitable across all KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas models big bikes.

This is to address the fact MX/XC models have a larger 25mm rear axle but the Enduro models feature smaller 20mm rear axles. That means if you have a couple of bikes or switch from one to the other type when you buy a new bike, you also need a new rear disc guard to fit.

The new BPD one-size-fits-all disc guard comes with a removeable insert to accommodate the different axle sizes without swapping guards.

BPD’s rear disc guards are machined from tough, 6061 billet aluminium in one-piece to “minimise weight and maximise strength”. All the bikes in the KTM/HSQ and GG ranges can also fit the optional, separate caliper guard ($72/£49/€67 approx) to protect the rear brake.

Available in multiple colours to match bike models.
