Quick look: Touratech tech upgrades for Yamaha Tenere 700

A quick look at the latest protection, luggage and suspension upgrade parts from Touratech for the 2025-on Yamaha Tenere 700 Adventure bike.

The Tenere 700 remains one of the most popular middleweight adventure bikes thanks to its mix of off-road ability and touring comfort. For riders wanting to toughen it up or tailor it to travel, Touratech has a broad range of parts for the latest generation.

Protection

New fairing crash bars for the 2025+ model use 25mm stainless tubing shaped close to the bodywork. An integrated “Tech Plate” provides a mounting point for small soft bags.

Protection parts also include a 4mm aluminium Expedition engine guard, plus hand guards, and covers for the water pump, headlight and ABS sensor.

Off-road upgrades

A brake lever extension and large Works footrests suit riders in enduro boots. An off-road air filter targets dusty conditions, while a side stand extension adds stability on soft terrain.

Luggage

Stainless pannier racks take ZEGA aluminium cases, including the Evo with a lockable quick-mount system.

Soft options include waterproof Endurance, Travel and Extreme Edition side bags. The rack-free Discovery 2 system mounts via seat straps, while Ambato tank bags and smaller packs complete the range.

Suspension

Touratech’s Cartridge Kit Extreme replaces the fork internals with a fully adjustable cartridge system for improved control and response.

At the rear, the Extreme 2 shock offers preload, rebound and separate high/low-speed compression adjustment, built for durability in hard use. The brand highlights rally results, including a strong finish at the Africa Eco Race by Mike Wiedemann using the Extreme 2 shock.

Options for more riders

Progressive replacement springs offer a lower-cost suspension upgrade. Lowering spring kits reduce seat height by 35mm while keeping most off-road capability.

Finishing parts

Bar risers, GPS mounts and rescue handles round out the catalogue.
