TM Boano Factory Enduro Team 2024 EnduroGP rider line-up

TM Boano Factory Enduro Team present their official rider line-up for the 2024 EnduroGP World Championship ahead of this weekend’s opening round of the Italian Assoluti Championship in Cavaglia.

Mixing the some of the best of home rider and international talent, the Italian team and manufacturer TM Boano Factory have a solid three-rider senior unit for the 2024 season.

Back in the pale blue and white colours after a hiatus, Lorenzo Macoritto will race the highly competitive E1 class in both Italian and EnduroGP championships on the TM 250 Fi 2t, fuel injected two-stroke.

Lorenzo has a history with the Boano team but also with big two-strokes where he and previous teammate Matteo Pavoni put on an epic season-long battle for the Junior world title in 2021. After a couple of tough years since, the team say Lorenzo is looking “to return to the levels he deserves” and he’ll certainly have some riders to aim at with Steve Holcombe and Josep Garcia in E1 class too.

Frenchman Leò Le Querè also joins the TM team riding the popular TM 300 four-stroke in the E2 class of both EnduroGP and the French enduro championships. A recent injury in training has slowed down his preparations for the year but the team say they are “confident in his recovery for the first round of the EnduroGP” – that comes in Portugal on April 5-7.

Matteo Cavallo is the only senior rider carry over from previous season and will race the fuel injected TM 300 Fi 2t, which TM (and the team) say they have “improved and perfected” to help aim at the podium in EnduroGP.

Alongside the main senior riders, the TM Boano Racing Junior team is all-Italian trio of Alberto Elgari, Gabriele Giordano and Samuli Boano.

Deny Philippaerts, Racing Manager: “It was a good winter of training. Unfortunately, Leò has been out for five weeks with a wrist injury but is now recovering. I saw Lorenzo and Matteo as motivated to do well and they are putting in a lot of effort. I'm confident.”

Jarno Boano, Team Manager: “The Team needed some changes in both riders and personnel. Now the group is once again united and motivated to do well. We will always work hard to obtain the best result as it is in our DNA.”
