“The right step in my career” – Will Hoare signs with Rieju for SuperEnduro and Hard Enduro World Championships

Rieju has announced the surprise signing of Will Hoare to race the 2024 SuperEnduro and Hard Enduro World Championships alongside Alfredo Gomez and Dominik Olszowy.

There’s an element of “about time” to Rieju’s announcement they’ve signed British rider William Hoare to their factory racing team. Currently third in the SuperEnduro World Championship, the former British Extreme Enduro Champion and SuperEnduro Junior World Champion has been hovering on the verges of a Pro career but never quite getting the factory support his talent deserved.

Step up Rieju who add Will to their ever-expanding squad of international riders in both the EnduroGP, Hard Enduro and SuperEnduro World Championships.

Will makes his debut on the MR Racing 300 two-stroke this weekend at the Romanian SuperEnduro GP in Cluj. It’s round four of the season and Will is in a fighting chance of a podium result but with little support from any other source, it is a no-brainer as they say.

“I am very happy to join the Rieju factory team,” says Will. “I have seen the team around the paddock for a few years now. And they give 100% to all their riders.”

“This is definitely the right step in my racing career and I can't wait to go out again this weekend in Romania aboard the Rieju MR 300.”

The young British rider will team up with the Spanish Alfredo Gómez and the Polish rider Dominik Olzsowy in the Figueres team, with Olszowy a direct competitor in the SuperEnduro series. It’s good news too for Hoare’s career which has seen him not committing to full seasons either indoors or outdoors in recent years due to the expense. Indeed he told Enduro21 earlier this year that the only reason he was continuing in the SueprEnduro season was because he’d done so well at round one.

It will be good to see him able to commit to a full HEWC season plus it will help Rieju further in the UK where he’ll compete in the British Extreme Enduro Championship.
